KRIBA is a Parisian label of corsets made in France that can be custom made from tailor leftovers and leather, created by @kristell_bannier.
The pieces are designed to be layered on the outside, turning them from underwear to clothing. KRIBA uses details from the men’s wardrobe, mixing them with 70s biker elements to explore the diverse language of the corset. The aim is to empower bodies rather than constrain them. The materials used, such as striped Italian flannel and leather, reinforce the dressy side of the corsets. Kristell Bannier studied design in Paris and apprenticed with Véronique Leroy before joining David Koma and A.W.A.K.E.’s studios in London. Back in Paris, she joined ATLEIN and Mugler in parallel to the creation of the corset line.
