Momma's blues

Momma’s Blues (named after Townes Van Zandt’s 1971 album, Delta Mama Blues) reworks vintage and off-cuts of leather or denim, pushing customisation to the extreme and deploying a highly personal creative language. The result is unique compositions created according to an imagery often tinged with musical or cinematographic references, which Hala Mohawad, the brand’s designer, applies to each of the personalities she dresses.

The characterful pieces in denim, leather and suede are strongly marked by stylised nods to icons from the world of music, fashion or cinema, which Hala Mohawad, who’s also a DJ, appreciates and combines with an infectious enthusiasm that appeals to an audience of insiders.
