Y(E)LL(O)W is the brand’s signature colour and a reflection of the solar energy it seeks to convey. Whether they are unique or designed in small series, YLLVV 16 pieces are highly recognisable. YLLVV 16 combines high quality materials and manufacturing, primary colours, an oversized cut and illustrations strongly influenced by hip-hop, pop or k.pop culture. YLLVV 16 pieces evoke childhood games and break free from the gender norms instituted by a society of yesteryear to better celebrate a new multi-genre era where self-expression does not conflict with artificial boundaries.

Originally from South Korea, Jungmi graduated from Myongji University in Korea in fashion design and then from ESMOD Paris. She worked at BALMAIN HOMME for 9 years (21 collections) as a designer before launching her own brand.
